Our teaching method
The Quran has always been taught by a teacher listening to a student recite. Our method keeps that tradition at the centre and uses online classes to make it easier to access.
Six principles we teach by
Listen before teaching
Every student starts with an assessment in the free trial class. The tutor listens to the student read, or checks which letters they know, and starts from that point rather than from a fixed syllabus page.
Correct in the moment
When a mistake is made, the tutor stops, models the correct sound and asks the student to read again. Correcting immediately prevents a mistake from becoming a habit.
One new thing at a time
Lessons introduce one new letter, rule or portion of memorisation at a time, and only move on once it is secure.
Revision is part of every class
Each class begins by revising the previous lesson. For Hifz students, revision takes up a large share of every class.
Practice between classes
Short daily practice does more than long occasional sessions. Tutors suggest what to practise and for how long.
Parents are partners
Parents can join any class and receive regular updates. For young children, a parent sitting nearby in the first weeks helps a lot.
The student learning journey
Each stage builds on the one before it. A student can join at any stage after an assessment.

Teaching children online
Children’s classes are kept focused and varied: a few minutes of revision, new reading, then a surah or dua. Tutors use praise and small goals to keep motivation up, and keep the camera on so they can see when attention drifts.
Teaching adults online
Adults often want to understand why a rule exists, so tutors explain more and set independent practice. Classes are private, and adults set the pace and the goal: reading, correcting, memorising or understanding.
